HOW TO CONFIGURE TIME ZONES IN UBUNTU

Our first step is to set our server’s time zone. This is a very simple procedure that can be accomplished by re-configuring the tzdata package:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

Select the time zones according to your geographic area and click OK.
